Henry's Turn

Whenever one of our kids turn 12 we take them to Melbourne along with any of their siblings who are already over 12 to have some fun and to visit the temple. So finally it was Henry's turn... he was 12 in May but finding time when we were all free was difficult, so as soon as Jakob and I finished our end of year exams we booked to go.
We had a fun and memorable few days away while my parents stayed with Katie and Lilly and looked after them, and they also got to spend some time with their favourite cousins Hallie and Sarra.
We shopped allot or should I say Jason and I shopped allot. For example we went to the DFO near the airport and the boys were done in half an hour, Jason and I had only just started:). We also did some go-kart racing. Jason lapped us all four times (hence the reason that he drives when in Melbourne), and also got to shoot each up in some very competitive games of laser tag. I am sure the reason I came last was because all the boys thought I was an easy target!! The place we went to was two story so you couldn't always discern where the shots were coming from.
The boys just hanging out, at our accommodation.

Jakob after go-karting and laser tag just a bit worn out
As you can see, laser tag sure does make you a bit sweaty...Jason in the background is just asking Mr. nav-sat man how to get back to our accommodation. However did we manage without these gadgets??
And this is where we would find Jason when ever we had a break... with his head in a book.
Nathan - 'Don't feed me so much takeaway and expect me to feel great after laser tag:('
And who are these handsome lads?? How could any mother not feel proud of such handsome loving boys as these.... yes I am a tad biased:)

Nathan and Henry at the temple
And Henry... who enjoyed his time away and really glad that he is now 12 and can join in our trips to Melbourne.
