Christmas

Twas the day before Christmas

And all through our home
The Triffitts had gathered...
My how they've grown:)

The stockings were filled
With extreme care
And the tree was then loaded
With presents to share.

Two little girls
Arose on Christmas day
Eager to see
The present displayPresents were opened
from siblings just one
And stockings were emptied
To see all the fun:)




Presents were left
And to church they all went
Then after they came
to see what Santa had sent






Later that day
After smiles and toys
Family gathered
A real Christmas joy

Drums were played
And little girls splashed
More presents given
And everyone gushed
And as Christmas day
Came to a close
Many a child
Fell into a dose
But all the joy
Of this Christmas season
Comes from the love
We share with a reason.
