It's Christmas

Christmas is here again in full swing... and thus the traditional putting up of the tree occurred last Sunday. And as usual decorations were everywhere and Katie and Lilly were sooo excited. It's good that the girls help to get their brothers into the festive spirit:)

Last year as we packed away the tree and the stockings each of the kids placed a note in their stocking to be opened this Christmas. To just say hi,and what ever else they wanted to say to themselves. They loved opening them this year and there was allot of laughs and smiles. Henry's was especially hilarious, and he had added $5 in his unbeknown to us:) He stated that this year he will have to add $50 to his stocking letter... hmm, that might be placing the stakes a little high!
A few years ago Jason's dad gave each of the kids a sitting Santa, they are so cute as they sit on the mantle piece in front of each photo.
Then of course there is the porcelain ornaments that Jason's mum makes for the kids, ... thus far they have 6 different ones each and of course there are six of each. Each is named and the tradition is that they each place their own ornaments on the tree. This year we cut back on the tinsel so we can see Nan's ornaments better.

Last night we attended our ward's Christmas party. Which was allot of fun and just a relaxing night
There were sack races... Henry fell numerous times, but never gave up, while Nathan took it steady.
Egg and spoon race, it certainly was lucky the eggs were hard boiled.
