Getting ready to leave

On Wednesday night the presentation evening for Grade 6's at Norwood Primary was held. Once again another one of our children is getting ready to leave primary school, which will mean that only two are left there. In 2006 we had five there together, (Lilly hadn't started school yet) but in 2012 it will be only two. So it was a nice, but reflective time as we watched the grade 6's, as many of them have been at school with Henry since kinder.
The grade 6's of 2011. (I think there were about 20 missing)
Henry up to receive his leavers certificate. As you can see his teachers are trying to catch his attention but ... well let's put it this way.... he is ready to move on:)
Have you noticed how tall 12 year old girls can be lately? Henry is standing on the step behind these girls, but I had to take numerous photos as I couldn't always see him behind the girls standing on the step below.

With some members from his class.
He had a pretty good year in grade 6 this year, serving as Wattle house vice captain and helping with other various activities around the school. He also enjoyed the fact that he discovered this year that his one of the best runners at Norwood:)
So now he goes from being the big fish in the little pond, to the little fish in the big pond... high school here comes Henry!!
