This week has been really busy, but hey...what's new?! Monday was a pupil free day so after going to the gym it was friend time so for a while there were 10 kids in the house......
Tuesday after school Lilly went to another kinder birthday party, this one was at the fairy shop... She did look very cute all done in her fairy outfit except I forgot to take a photo!...
Wednesday everyone was at school!! I go a little crazy when I have no kids and try to make the best use of my time and usually end up wearing myself out.
Thursday was trying to get the vacuum cleaner repaired. We have a dyson and they're great, but if they break down it can be quite costly. I went to the repair people to get a quote from them, which was $120.... but after a bit of discussion I was able to locate a place that sold the item that we needed to repair the end of the electrical cord ...for the grand price of $1...... After that Lilly and I discovered that there was water leaking into the pantry again from one of our outside drains. So we had the smelly job of cleaning out the drain and moving things in the pantry around to try and dry out the floor...
And today another day without kids.... I help to run the clothing pool on Fridays at Norwood Primary...so after that and a RPM class at the gym, I thought I would head home and take it easy..... but sometimes I wonder if I really know the meaning of 'relax'...
Anyway what else.. well all the Grade 8s at Queechy went to Agfest to day - Jakob had a great time but came home looking like this..... He said he got as many freebies as he could and he was covered in mud!! (If you can't tell he's covered in stickers).....
