I am really enjoying the time I have with Lilly by herself while the others are at school. Occasionally I feel a little guilty as I never had this time for any of the others, but it's great... And for anyone that knows Lilly she's a real character loads of personality and spunk and not to be outdone by any of her siblings, and always full of interesting thoughts.
Yesterday I bought her some chalk and she decided that we needed to draw a hopscotch outside on the cement. She told me to draw the boxes and she would do the numbers...(she knows her numbers but writing them gets a little tricky - some she can do, some she can't).
So we went started making the hopscotch - she wrote 1, then 2 and then asked me..."Mummy can you help me?" I asked her if she needed help with drawing number 3...... She said to me..."I know what it looks like in my head, but I don't know what it looks like in my body!"......(For those that don't understand what she was telling me, she was saying that she knew what a 3 looked like but she couldn't write it...)
She really makes me smile......
