Today Henry turned 9!! And it has been a full on weekend. On Friday Henry's class had an excursion which I went to as he asked me to come. It was interesting to watch Henry and how he interacts with the rest of the class, and to have one little girl come up and tell that Henry is a chatterbox.
On Friday evening Henry's birthday really began. He had a sleepover party with 4 of his friends; Liam, Josh, Tyler and Victor. And like Henry they are very active boys - so there was allot of noise, but they all had fun and finally settled down to sleep about midnight. Then about 6am they started again......
After the party Jason took Henry , Nathan and Jakob to the new Indiana Jones movie. Then after that Henry and Nathan had an achievement day activity. So by Saturday night Henry was exhausted...though he tells me today that he didn't sleep too well as he kept thinking about the scary bits in the movie.
And then today of course there was more present opening, church and then tonight we had a family birthday tea for Henry. .... so Henry has certainly had a birthday weekend rather than just one day.....

And just to finish here are 10 things that I Love about Henry....
1. His ability to go from a complete stop to flatout in a second
2. The way he loves and adores his mum - he still lets me kiss him at school (his brothers stopped that in kinder)
3. The way he can take on Jakob and make him laugh
4. His natural sporting ability
5. His love for socialising - to him that is what school is all about
6. His honesty
7. The way he pulls his hair when he is stressed or worried
8. The way he makes friends so easily
9. His rough tough exterior, but underneath he's a real softy
10. Because he's my baby boy and he always will be
