Mothers Day 2014

What more could you want as a mother to be able to celebrate mother's day with your children, husband and granddaughter. I am so grateful for the 6 beautiful children which Jason and I have been blessed with, and as they get older I seem to reflect more and more what it means to be a mother...
This mother's day we were able to talk to Jakob in Japan for an hour... it was so good to hear his voice and ask questions and just converse for that hour. He would occasionally speak in Japanese or use Japanese words when he didn't have the English ones to express himself.
Lilly speaking to Jakob - we had him on speaker so everyone could hear.
I also received a photo frame from Lilly,
poems from Nathan and Henry that they had written themselves,

origami flowers from Katie and Aneika brought her beautiful daughter Leira - our granddaughter over for a visit.
Also Jason and a few of the kids pitched in for a new dressing gown.
We also shared a mother's day meal with Simone and her children as Simon was at work, and the sister missionaries from church
