Missionary Moments

The meeting with Elder Christofferson was pretty good. It took us about two hours of travel to get to the place, but it was amazing to see all 250 missionaries there. Needless to say there was a lot of catching up to be had, ..... Elder Christofferson simply talked about a few random things, then he opened it up to questions and answered them using scriptures. Then it finished. Before that we all got to shake his hand and he would say our name and maybe comment or pat us on the back. It took 20 minutes or so to go through 250 of us, but it really was special. I have touched a twelve! They are real! The Church is true! Our mission and efforts received a lot of praise. He said we were one of the best he's seen (more or less) and to keep it up....
I got to talk to all my old companions ..... and that was probably a highlight. ....
The rest of my week was alright. We met with the AMWAY lady again, she called me Thursday morning. She really doesn't have interest in anything but us, we tried pretty hard. But we are going to a social barbecue she is hosting next Sunday, so maybe her friends will give us a chance to share with them our message.
Our other investigators have been moving along fairly nicely. The Law of chastity is a hard one here in Japan. But the gospel is stronger.
President Zinke leaves next transfer, so beginning of July or something. .....
My hayfever hasn't bothered me this week, although I have been taking the medicine every morning. It should last me the rest of my mission, I am trying to be a bit sparing with it. Also have face masks, for the dry windy days when you can feel the pollen in the air. ....
