Missionary Moments

My week was pretty good. Pulled off 8 lessons again, so it looks like that will be our average from now on. We lost our best investigator though, which was really sad. ..... Thankfully, another investigator has happily filled the best investigator spot, and has agreed to a baptismal date, I may still see a couple of baptisms in Himeji yet.
Our week was pretty average until Thursday, where we got together as a 4人 and traveled up North to a different city. Himeji area is one of the biggest in the mission, but the area we dendou in is usually never more than 1/2 hour in any direction, by bike. But we left 8am, all fasting, and studied on a river (climbed down and sat on rocks). I was sickly, and on top of fasting, was in a daze all day, but had a nice nap on the river while the others studied, then we kept riding for a long time til we got to a city centre (really small one) and just housed. Found some people who were good to talk to, and the amazing thing is, that even though while riding I have snot streaming down my face and feel terrible, as soon as someone answers the door to talk to us, I am fine and can do talk to them fine, but as soon as the door closes I am back to my sick and sorry self. The Lord helps, but he also lets us experience life as any other person, I have found.
My companion and I didn't find anything, but the other companionship found a couple of people willing for revisits. I wish I had brought my camera, but was too sick to care. In the evening we went to Kappa Sushi, ..... with the other Elders. It was probably the worst thing I could have done after a day of being sick and fasting, but at the same time, I do love Sushi.
I got to meet with a couple of investigators I hadn't seen all transfer last week too, so that must have been why I didn't transfer, as they had not met my companion yet and he didn't know about them.
That's about all from me this week, hopefully will have photos next week. .....
Phone call was great, I love my Family! I also love Dendou. The Church is true.
