Missionary Moments

..... Had an investigator say they can finally come to church next week, and made postive contact with others that we haven't heard from. Trying really hard on getting people to church this week. I hope we can. I think our dendou skills are still improving all the time, just teaching is lagging, as no lesson for almost 7 weeks now.
I like Miki area, but the quietness is certainly a downside. We also have a focus on getting more students to eikaiwa (English class) this week, which is good too, means more friends and opportunities. Last week we had 4 new people, but no one new that we invited that said they would come. Hopefully this week (tomorrow) we will see results. President Zinke wants us to hand out a minimum of 1000 chirashi (flyers) a month for eikaiwa, which means everyone in miki will have one before the year ends... (not really but it feels like it). He says we should be seeing 30-40 people, not just 2-10. So that is a new challenge. Also have goals for lots of people at Church, which we are working on.
The meeting in Kobe was pretty good. ..... The rest of the taikai (meeting) was goals and stuff for the coming months, a new training plan and review of numbers. It's kinda cool, Kobe mission is the top performing mission in the Asia north area (Korea and Japan), which means we beat Tokyo! Unfortunately that means that the other missions didn't do as well, it seems the influx of new missionaries has taken it's toll everywhere, except Kobe. President Zinke is certainly doing something right.....
Weather is cold, but bearable. Not taking any chances anymore, as cold weather on your hands and face is painful. Wear both my gloves and a hand or body warmer (little packets of chemicals you shake up and it warms up for like 10 hours) most nights.....
