Missionary Moments

This past week was transfers, but as my comapnion and I were staying, it was just a longer than normal week of normal stuff. We ..... met some real nice people, so hopefully will get back to them, although our luck is kinda up and down with  revisits....
The eating frenzy of Chrismas was quickly followed by the New Years eating frenzy. I have to be chubbier now than before. I don't know where else all this food goes. I roll out the door every day after lunch and roll in to bed after dinner. Good thing we are riding and walking a lot.
So New Years is called Shogatsu, and I think the holiday was like a week or something (at least for schools), New Years day was the quietest I have ever seen Japan. Only the chain 24hr stores were open, everything else was closed and the streets were empty.
Did a little bit of adventure Dendou this week. Took my camera too. We just like walked up random paths and stuff while housing. Found some pretty neat shrines and what not, also some nice people.
Not too much else to report. The end of this week we have our big New Years Taikai (meeting) in Kobe, so that should be fun. Sports in the morning and then lots of training or something in the afternoon I think.
