Missionary Moments

This week Jakob sent photos!  And he wrote.....

This week .......We did a ton of housing. We also ate out a couple of times,....
So a few nights ago we had been housing for like two hours straight without much success, we were getting kinda bored of it, although I must say my introduction is starting to sound pretty good (I think). Anyway, I beeped like the hundredth kekko box for that night, and did my introduction all in English, to see what would happen. A man came running out of the house, thought he was going to deck me, but ended up he was just extremely curious to see who was at his letter box. Switched back to Japanese and had a nice talk with him, he wasn't really interested, but yeah, was kind of a surprise. I might try that tactic some other time, although my companion wasn't as amused as I was....
Not too much time today again, like always! So the brake wire on my bike drastically snapped again this morning on the way to shopping, there was a big snap! and I felt a sharp pain in my leg, somehow it flicked right up under pressure and welted me. We only replaced it like 3 weeks ago, so that cost me another $10 or so to get it done again. Disc brakes are a pain. I might have some pictures of my bike too!
We had lots of rain this week, rivers got pretty full, but nothing particularly wild or ferocious. It's starting to cool down even more, which is great though. No more hot humid days for 5 months at least, I hope......
