Lilly turns 10

Yesterday Lilly turned 10 .... as she informed me she is now double digits. My baby is certainly growing up. Full of life, always ready for fun and with a spark of mischief she certainly is a very much loved and adored youngest sibling of six.
Her birthday celebrations seemed to go for days. She began with a sleepover party with her friends from school, then Nathan gave her, her  present from him early so that he could spend time with her on Saturday paying with it. Oma came to visit and so did big sister Aneika - each with a money present. So it was off down town to buy one thing she has wanted for ages - a unicorn onzy. Then Sunday Katie decided she couldn't wait and gave Lilly one of the presents she had bought for her.
Then finally Monday and the real birthday!! Presents before school, cupcakes to take to school to share with her class, a birthday tea (potatoes in the jackets and chocolate ripple cake) and Nan and Auntie Tracey dropping by with more presents.
Lilly said to me as she was going to bed last night - "I just want my birthday to keep going and going!"
With her friends at her sleepover
Her first birthday cake with her friends on Friday
Her early birthday present from Nathan
the unicorn onzy - on the back she has a tail and wings - loves it :)
A cute pair of earings from dad
a ramp
and what every 10 year old wants - a stunt scooter (yes she did get elbow and knee pads to go with it!!)
A chocolate ripple birthday cake for a very happy 10 year old girl
