Sports Carnivals

Tuesday and Wednesday were the sports carnivals at Norwood Primary. Tuesday was for the junior school - Lilly, and Wednesday was the senior school - Katie and Henry.
Lilly was that excited about hers and ran as fast as she could. The younger grades just had one 100m race and then rotated around tabloid sports such as tunnel ball, egg and spoon and the sack race,... they do this so the younger kids aren't having to sit for ages waiting to have a race.
Lilly doing her best in the 100m, she tells me she came third,... sometimes I'm so busy getting the photo that I miss seeing them finish.
Slowing down after her race.
and 'Whew, that was a hard run'
Watching the ball go all the way down the line in tunnel ball.
Katie doing her best in her skipping race on Wednesday.
Henry was in division 1 for every race, though I think his hair created a bit of wind resistance. Might be time for a cut.... don't think I can convince him though.
He tells me he wasn't doing a happy dance after placing 4th in his 100m, against some boys who would normally beat him. But to me it sure looks like a happy dance:)

Katie in her 100m, she came third.
