It's finally happened, after doing the kitchen up 3 years ago, the floors have been done!!!!!!! I didn't take any before photos, but if you can imagine blue and grey speckled lino that was a little ripped and didn't fit right because it was meant for the shape of the old kitchen you'll get the picture....
Jason took Thursday and Friday off work and put in a new floating floor and the transformation is amazing (although he is complaining of sore knees and back from all the bending and kneeling). I helped where I could but best not to get in the way of a man and his tools, plus Thursday I was at uni all day so he was left to himself.
So three days later, sore knees, and tidying done it looks good. Jason says that the worse bit was cutting the boards to shape. It was OK and quick when there was a straight run, but going around the doors, and walls and making sure the boards were staggered was tedious.... hmm now what job needs to be done next??

It looks lovely Tammy!
Way to go Jason!!!
Great job Jason. I'll be in that boat before too long -- I know Gaynor certainly has plans.
