This morning I came into the lounge room to find Katie-Lynne playing a board game in front of Lucky's cage, (Lucky is Aneika's budgie). I asked her what she was doing and she said that she was playing a game with Lucky because there wasn't anyone else to play with. This really amused me as even when you have a house full of brothers and sisters you still need to be able to entertain yourself!!
I thought it was such a cute photo opportunity that I couldn't really pass it up, though I was under strict instructions when Katie-Lynne left for school not to pack up the game.....
Later in the day, well in the evening Katie-Lynne came back to the game, but Lilly decided that she needed to help Lucky play so that Katie-Lynne couldn't cheat!!
