Missionary Moments

This last week was pretty good!
I am greatly enjoying having a Japanese companion. It means I have to actually speak Japanese all the time, and I already feel a difference in my speaking ability and confidence. M. choro is pretty cool, he is 23 and already graduated from university to be a PE teacher, so he looks like a big Japanese sports teacher, and acts like one too. He is way friendly and a good companion. It is nice having someone who's language I can rely on, but at the same time still is learning how to be a missionary, so will follow advice and counsel.
Having Elder W. around again is good too..... His trainee is an answer to my prayers, I was hoping for someone with other language ability to come to the area and help out with all these internationals we have around the place, and he is Brazilian and speaks Portuguese, Spanish, familiar with French and Italian, English and is of course learning Japanese. We are getting along pretty well, and the area is looking pretty good. I thought halving our numbers with 4 missionaries would be not so good, but so far results are looking up. Already I have been able to get back in contact with some older investigators and set up more lessons.
It is nice being area senpai too (the oldest missionary) because I can be the boss for a while, because no one else knows what is going on.
We had our Halloween party on Saturday night. It went pretty well. We got a whole heap of investigators and members to come, and I made a super cool pinata, which was a hit! The YSA here organised it and it was fun. I also did not take a single photo because I was busy the whole time, which is not cool, because there were lots of good opportunities.
Sunday was really busy too, we had maybe 15min for a meal, and the rest of the day was non stop. We participated in a pretend Ward council meeting, which was filmed, and will be used in Japan for training videos. We didn't say anything in it, but were the eye candy I think.....
Elder J. cooking our last meal together before transfers.
The Ghost pinata, I made it with paper and flour and water. It worked!

With my new companion, Elder M.
