Missionary Moments

It has been a long week. We had ups and downs with H., I am not sure where he is at right now, I cannot say whether he is closer or further away from Baptism, but there is still a chance.

We had a pretty good lesson with him Thursday. Apparently all he needed to hear in order to really start understanding why he must keep the word of wisdom was that Satan wants him to not keep it... it connected. He is in a better position, but then he wasn't able to make it to general conference all weekend (it was in Kyoto, they watch it as a stake). So hmmm....

I got to watch all of conference, but watched Sunday morning in Japanese, so did not get so much out of that one. There were many good ones, .....

The Chinese guys are fast becoming our good friends, and the gospel is getting in there too. We had 20 people or so at Eikaiwa on Wednesday! There was like 3 new people, and then a whole heap of people that only come sometimes decided to all come at once. It was fun.

After district meeting on Friday we spent time to co-ordinate our efforts with the Sisters in Otsu. It was good, but I think we were there til 6pm! Now though, we should be ready to really get involved with the ward and help each others investigators. We could see so many Baptisms, if only just a little change happened.

I look forward to seeing some of that UYC stuff. My companions may appreciate Tasmanian missionary power too......
We have had another 'typhoon' today. It is kind of wet and windy right now, everything is just cooling down a bunch ready for winter I think. Probably should have to wear Jackets soon. Hopefully it will be cold enough to deserve it.

Not to much more I can think of, besides that I found an import store that sells chocolate vanilla TimTams. Just that conference was awesome! Keep watching it!
