Missionary Moments

The work this past week? It has been going alright.
We didn't end up having H.'s Baptism, he got busy all week and couldn't stop smoking, but we will try again this week!
I got to spend Wednesday in Omihachiman area with  Elder H., which was a lot of fun. Although the split was kind of sudden, ..... I got to teach a garbled Portuguese and Japanese lesson, and have fun at their Eikaiwa with lots of Brazilians. I think my Portuguese is improving.
Elder H. and I also visited a Christian tomb, which we found. It was really cool. Unfortunately I took a Video which is too long to send, and no pictures of the inside. But it was like Indiana Jones for sure. We asked an old Japanese man if we could go inside the crypt area, and he was like 'It's probably locked', but it wasn't, so we got in. It is the family tomb of the founder of Omihachiman, who was a Christian a long time ago. Didn't take any treasure though.
One of the elders was sick though in Omihachiman, so Saturday I was a little off, and Sunday I was kind of sick. But I am all better now. Thankfully it didn't last too long.
Japanese class was fun on Saturday, we got another new PI from it, it really is a gold mine for friends and investigators,.....
We got Transfer emails today, and I am staying, which is awesome. Elder J. is gypsy-ing again, which is not awesome. But he is going to an apartment with  Elder P. and Elder B., a place I would love to be. I am getting a nihonjin companion! My first one for my entire mission. I think he is third transfer..... Also, a not so fun addition is Otsu is turning into a 4 Elder area (total 6 missionaries). I am getting Elder W. (my companion during my 4th transfer) come here with a trainee,...... I have mixed feelings about sharing the apartment with two more missionaries. There is ups to it, like less stuff to do (also a down). And downs, like giving him some investigators and trying to simply work out the logistics of 4 missionaries with two bikes and a 40 minute ride away from the closest Church building. You'll see in my email next week how it all goes.
