Over the long weekend we thought we would check out the new lookout at the Gorge, that is about halfway between the swinging bridge and Duck Reach. The day was beautiful and Jason and I and the two youngest girls enjoyed the walk and the view. It is amazing how they can situate a platform that can just hang out over a cliff. The girls thought it was a little 'freaky' when they could look down through the mesh of the platform to the water and rocks below. I did think it would be amazing to go there when the Gorge is in flood to see the water rushing down.
