Missionary Moments

My week was pretty good. It was a long week, or so it felt. On Tuesday we kokoned with the other elders in Himeji, and I spent the day with Stephenson choro. It was good to work with someone from my mtc experience again. The day went pretty well, and managed to turn a really old lady we had met previously into a new Investigator.
The next day Page choro and I were back together again and we went to visit another older lady who also turned into a new investigator. This one was pretty special. She had been thinking a lot about life after death and God and wants to go to heaven. The very day we turned up and she came to Church the Sunday after. About 9 weeks later we finally run into her again and she has become a really solid investigator already. Apparently she has also met with some Priest in Kobe, who was so impressed with her story of Christian missionaries (the first time we found her) he gave her a nice kinda expensive looking Japanese candle/cup to her to give to me. That'll be one to display when I get back.
Also, our investigator, the shigansha (baptism receiving person) passed his interview on Saturday and all the little problems he had before have just blown away. He is actually excited for his Baptism this week, and so are we! We definitely had a lot of help from the Lord this week throughout our Dendou......
The weather is definitely getting hotter, however, we are also in rainy season, so if it gets too hot, we can count on it to start to rain, which makes things a little difficult as a missionary, but I've done it once already, I can do another! I hit my year mark in Japan on Tuesday. Which was good because I was with Stephenson choro (who also hit his), we went out and bought Indian in the evening to celebrate.
We should be in for another good week.....
