Missionary Moments

This past week was also a pretty good one. We pulled 4 new investigators, which is a record for both of us here. Our Eikaiwa class also doubled in size in one week, which is also awesome. More Eikaiwa students means more potential investigators. We now have almost 20 students.
I did a companion exchange with the district leader ....Things worked out well for both of us, and it was when we found the new investigators. Also rode out to the east edge of my area, like an hour away, and it is really beautiful, reminded me a lot of Miki area, where it is just trees and farms and mountains, with the odd factory or two. We haven't even tried to go far north yet, it would take a day of solid bike riding, but we want to go explore dendou sometime for a day. The only problem is we are too busy! Which is good.....
I am still jealous I do not get to see the baby when it is still a baby. I love the photo's though, makes me excited to go home a little, but not too much. I came to the realisation that I have made it around the bend and am on my way back now in terms of time out here, and lets just say I am not ready to leave just yet! Things are just starting to get good.
Our yakusokusha and shinpou shiteiru investigators are coming along well. I really hope my companion and I get two transfers here together, because I would like to see the fruits of our labours. It would be awesome to see another few baptisms in the coming couple of months.
It is heating up a bit, although the last two days have got cold again, due to the rain. I will need to get back into the habit of sweating every where I go again soon.
Just as an aside, if I gain nothing else from my mission, I will have gained massive thighs from all the riding. Was flexing them the other night and they look as if I could fly with them....
Cherry Blossums just smell like normal sort of flowers, nothing special, that I could smell, just kinda cool and Japaneseish because they are everywhere!...
At an all you can eat - self serve.... hm mm I think somebody's eyes are bigger than their stomach.....
out for morning exercise at a beautiful Japanese garden...
an arena that was once used for fights
