Only short one this week, because of transfers we want to
eat out, and also need to go back so my companion can pack. He is being sent
somewhere inaka, ....
Lots has happened this week, I kokoned with another elder, .... we
talked to that old man again, and I went in and had another 25minute
discussion, I got quite worked up I think, and it is the first time I have
stood and preached at someone, Japanese came to me pretty easy, but in the end
he said we had nothing more to talk about, but finally accepted a Book of
Mormon and said he would try to come to Church....
On Friday night 3, 17yo girls that I had given eikaiwa
chirashi too actually came to Eikwaiwa, and spent the whole night goggling at
me and giggling whenever I spoke, we gave them a Church tour afterwards with a
member, but apparently they really like Australians. The other Elders thought
it was hilarious, and I am flattered, maybe they will turn into new
investigators?....
On Saturday I had an impression to return to the same area
where we found the old man, and we housed into this old lady who gave us
mugicha and invited herself to Church... She came and bought a friend .... and seemed to enjoy church, but I still have no idea why
she came... hopefully will be able to begin to teach them too.
Things were good this week, photo's next! My new companion .... is a quiet guy, so we
will get along
