Missionary Moments

This past week was pretty busy, I definitely got to feel like a real missionary again. So Asai choro was asked to translate all the taikai's this week into Japanese, so it was only three of us in the apartment this week, but consequently we picked up the other Elders investigators and taught a record of 8 lessons! ..... Two of our investigators also became progressing this week, so that was also exciting. It is good to be meaningfully busy, however because of how the days were, we barely got any finding time, so no new investigators, and that is what we really need right now (always).
The 70 taikai on Friday was really good. He served in Japan, and speaks Japanese alright still, so it was good to have an experienced Japanese knowledgeable 70 talk to us. .... definitely guided by the spirit, and full of good advice. Apparently our mission is doing really well in all areas, especially in spirituality and obedience. .... I also received my birthday Tim Tams from Sister Zinke, which was funny, as the day before I had just bought some myself.
On Saturday the members fed us twice, which was really nice, at the Church. At dinner we had two investigators and the other Elders had two also, so that was really cool. ...
Sunday was a really good day as there was a Baptism! A 15 year old kid the other Elders were teaching, we got to meet with him last preparation day and teach him when Asai choro was away, but the baptism experience for him was really good. I gave a talk at the baptism, and performed a song with the other Elders. The ward showed good support too. It is really good and I hope we see one also before the end of this transfer, although our yakusokusha still can't come to Church due to work, so that is really tough for him, despite his progression in everything else....
Should be another busier week this week too, we have been focusing on the Saviour a lot recently in the Mission, and it really does help to change you for the better, ....
At the zoo
At kaiten sushi, you just keep grabbing plates of everything and eating it.
Tim Tams in Japan!
