..... but we might see a baptism this month, which
would be brilliant.
This week we rode pretty far north in the area, although as
this area is huge, we could still have gone a lot further. It took about an
hour and a half to ride out to a former investigators place, but she was either
not home or ignored us, so we rode back. I got slightly lost, and took about 2
hours to get back. I figured I am not the best at navigating, I have been leading
companions around since 4th transfer, but it takes a combination of phone gps
and a compass to get anywhere I am not familiar with. Unfortunately, my
companions are never very good with directions either.
I was handing out Eikaiwa flyers at the Eki and an
Australian from Adelaide and his wife came up to talk to me. Adelaide is
Himeji's sister city. He seemed really familiar, couldn't put my finger on it
though. Very fun sort of guy, they live in Himeji, and we might visit them
sometime. It's always nice to talk in English, especially proper, Australian,
English.
I got to participate in the guy who was baptised
confirmation on Sunday, which was really special. It is so great to see people
continuing to grow and stay strong in the gospel. ....
Flat dynamics are still pretty good. I think I have less
personal space than in Miki, the rooms are situated a little differently, but
we all still get along. ...
