Presentation Evening

Last night was the grade 6 presentation evening, and this year it was Katie's turn as she is now completing grade 6 and getting ready to head to that big world of high school.
All ready....

Fare welling her grade 6 teacher who has taught her for the past two years - Mr. J.
On stage with her class.

A look how she has grown since she began in 2006....

A tiny little kinder girl - she may have been the smallest in the class - it was difficult to find a uniform to fit her :)
She had grown a little bit by the time she was in prep - she loved school and was happy to go everyday and be a big kid like her older siblings...
2009 - and now in grade 2. Her hair had finally grown and there was a few teeth missing, she was still the smallest in the class and still enjoyed school.
Grade 3 and still tiny, and still enjoying school. It was often said and still is that she was a very sweet and quiet girl who was well respected by her peers - the little angel in the classroom...
grade 4 and a member of student parliament - and still small but gradually catching up in height on some of her peers.
Grade 5 and still enjoying school
Finally grade 6 and she has grown so much this year - still small but has caught up to many of her peers. She has participated in dance fever, read over 200 books and been a library leader. The principal said of her "Katie-Lynne is a quiet achiever. She is an exemplary citizen of Norwood Primary School. We thank her for her many contributions."
