.. It's been pretty cold this week, I am wearing my big coat,
gloves and a $3 daiso scarf most evenings. It's going to keep getting
colder for a while, but I should be alright, might pick up another long sleeve
shirt and a beanie next P-day.
Yeah, so the other Elders are Elder Smart and Elder Jenson,
all of us are former nerds right now, to one degree or another, lots of video
game and internet conversation going on during meal times. Elder Smart is
from New Mexico, he is 11th transfer, really good at Japanese. Had his
birthday today, we got him some chocolate, because everyone loves chocolate.
Elder Jensen is from Salt Lake City, Utah. He is from the
same ward as a few general authorities, I might have mentioned already. .... He is coping really well, and his
Japanese is good, despite not having learnt it before. I get along with him
really well. In fact, I get along with them all well, so things are good in the
flat.
.....Mum, I remembered it was your birthday soon
just before, so expect a card sometime! I hope I have enough stamps, I will
send the family a big card for Christmas I think, was going to send presents
and a package, but not sure if I have time to do it :( , P-day doesn't last
long enough!
I love hearing from you guys every week! It is good to keep
in touch with the little things from home....

| Elder Rowlings' new bike. In the Japan Kobe mission the bikes come with the flat. However, now that Elder Rowlings is in Miki and the number of missionaries has grown from 2 to 4, he had the responsibility to purchase a new bike for himself and his companion. So he is very pleased to be riding a new bike :) |
