Jakob received recently an achievement certificate for being in the top 1% of students in Tasmania for numeracy. There was a bit of an award ceremony held at his high school for the northern districts, where the awards were presented by the Tasmanian Minister for Education, the Honourable David Bartlet. Tammy was a bit surprised at first when the school phoned her to invite her to attend. It was not until she arrived to discover it was a big deal. It was also noteworthy that the LDS population, as limited as we are, were well represented. There was a minor write up in the local paper "The Examiner" with all the recipients mentioned by name.
