My investigators... there's quite a few, we have 18(?) with a
baptismal date 9 or 10 of which are from me inviting, because we invite on the
first visit, because everyone here wants to follow the example of Jesus Christ,
but they need to church for four weeks in a row, which none of them seem to be
able to do. The main investigators are J. and A., they
are little kids. I think J. is 12, not sure how old A. is, they've been
taught for ages by the missionaries, and they really want to be baptized, but
their father doesn’t want them too, he never seems to be around (working or
sleeping maybe), but he doesn’t want them too because he paid a lot of money
for them to have water sprinkled on their head when they were a child. They
have probably one of the richest houses here in Ligao, I go there with a vain
hope that the father might be there that we can teach him. Then there is some
other ones, but there all students and stuff, and I don't know them that well,
and I think one of them is hiding from us... But J., and A. are my
favourite to teach
So this week, you're probably wondering why my email is late.
I
took a train to Legazpi with some other missionaries because ….. Elder Russel M.
Nelson came to Legazpi.
