Missionary Moments - Elder Nathan Rowlings. Philippines Legazpi Mission

hi
The MTC is pretty good.
All of the senior batch of language training missionaries, and all the Filipinos are gone, because they completed their training, so at the moment there is about 20ish missionaries in the whole MTC, down from the 100+ it was before. But that's good, because it means I'm no longer in the baby batch, it also means that my super messy room mates (we scored a -2 on the room cleanliness) are all gone,.....
Shopping in Manila was pretty good, every P'day we get to go to Rustins (grocery store) and buy whatever we want/need. I bought a heap of Tang, its a cordial powder that's pretty popular here, I bought enough to last me the week, so later today i plan on going and buying some more, and a new drink bottle, because the MTC gives you a ... a water bottle with a filter and stuff in it, that's made to be used in the field, so you can have clean water anytime. So mine doesn't get ruined I'm going to buy a new bottle today. When I'm going to buy stuff, i keep looking at it like wow that's expensive, but then ... 1 AUD is worth about 45 Peso so really everything is really cheap....

Training is going alright, I'm not the fastest progressing person in my district .... but its not about comparing. I can understand a conversation in Tagalog but replying is hard, because their sentence structure goes like: Verb, Actor, Object, Location, and then there's focus markers, respect markers, and non-focus markers, and/or a question marker that go in between all of the words. MTC is good though......
