I have found that being a grandmother is so much fun!! When all our kids were little together (6 kids in 9 years), I think I didn't have time to just enjoy the moment as I do with Leira. I know I did stop, but those years when they were all young was a little bit chaotic at times.
I love spending time with Leira and watching the fun and enjoyment that her aunts and uncles have with her. She is the most curious little person, and loves all the attention she gets from everyone.
Last week Katie, Lilly and I went with Aneika to the Punchbowl for a play. Leira has never seen ducks before and the look on her face as we fed them was priceless. I did give her some bread to give to the ducks.... but she just ate it!! She loved the swings and even the slide, and was insistent with her aunties that her hands were held (to help her walk), so that she could explore.
