Missionary Moments

This week went by fast! So fast that I didn't even have time to teach more than 1 lesson it seems. It was kind of a comparison to the week before, where we had like 10 or so. But despite bad numbers I enjoyed it.
It has been getting really cold lately! So cold. I was going to buy a winter hat today, but ran out of time. We met with L., the Swiss girl. She had pretty much cut off contact with us for the last couple of weeks and then last week sent a mail asking a whole bunch of very pointed questions about Mormonism. I accepted the challenge and today I got to explain our beliefs in English for like 2 hours! So nice, but poor Elder M. spent 2 hours sleeping I think (as he doesn't understand English very well). It turned out pretty well, and she may even accept and read the Book of Mormon, so that made me happy today, despite the cold.
On Saturday it snowed! Not sticking on the ground type, but snow flakes fell from the sky. It isn't meant to snow here this winter, but it might, if I am lucky. We did a pretty fun service project Saturday morning. We were moving stuff to get ready for a matsuri (local festival), helping out the city people. They were happy for our help, and the members testimonies on Sunday were saying how helpful we are. It's probably because we are bigger and taller than the others that were there, so could lift more stuff and reach high places. I think I like community service projects. We will definitely keep our eyes out for more.
I can't think of much more to write about my week.
to answer your questions:
1. Does it get busier in Japan at Christmas.
It gets busier. It is not a holiday, but it is a big shopping event. There are Christmas trees and lights everywhere. Much more than back home.
 2. Is Japan hilly -especially where you need to ride your bike?
Yes, unfortunately. It is hilly. I have recently developed a third big muscle in my thighs, on top of the other two. I think it is because of the hills.....
 3. Baptismal date for K.?
He is so awesome. Right now it is 28th of Dec.
