We had a shorter time at email today, because Bishop and his
wife took all the missionaries to go see Hikone castle. It was pretty fun, but
also cold and wet. It was nice to get out and do something for preparation day,
because lately we have done nothing except shop, sleep and email.
My week improved a lot numbers wise, from the week before.
We were up at about 12 lessons again, and lots of new people to add to our
teaching pool. It just felt like a really lucky week. I am not sure if we did
much to change it ourselves, simply just reaping some blessings and tried to be
a little more focused.
It has definitely been getting colder. I cannot go out to
dendou now without my gloves, neck muffler, ear warmers and coat. We also got
snowed on on Thursday night. It didn't stick, but it was enough to make riding
interesting.
Christmas is getting closer. and even the Japanese people
seem to be getting a bit excited. The stores are so full right now with people
busy shopping for 'Christmas', even though nobody even has the day off! It is a
normal day of school and work. In fact, the 23rd is a public holiday, but the
Japanese people are so work crazy, that isn't a day off for anyone either.
Japan just never stops.
I look forward to being able to speak to
everyone next week. .....
