On Thursday Nathan turned the grand age of 18 - there is now officially another adult in the house!! Henry asked me that night what's it like to be the mother of 3 adult children - my reply..... I'm not sure.... It feels like just yesterday they were all little and life in the Rowling's household was a little crazy.
Nathan's not the type of person to create a fuss so we celebrated with him, just as a family. We had subway for tea followed by a double choc strawberry torte from the Cheesecake shop.
When somebody in our family celebrates a birthday we often do a "this is your life", either through talk or through a DVD that I make. We then also take time to share what we love about that person. So I thought I would share some of the things that were said about Nathan.....
- he plays games with me
- he spends time with me on the computer
- he talks to me at breakfast
- his wacky sense of humour. He can always be relied on to make us laugh or come out with some crazy comment.
- that he is so giving. He always shares
- He always makes time for me
- his good example
