Another school year has begun... and the house is sooooo quiet:) Summer holidays seem at times to go forever, but before you blink they are back at school. It was a busy morning with everyone getting ready and three different schools to get to, but we made it in time with no hiccups.
We seem to be doing it by twos today. There are two at primary school, two at high school and two at college.
Hmm what will I do with these quiet hours? Well I only have just over a week and uni resumes for semester 1:) Then the year will really speed up... here's a few first day snaps of the kids.

Who is this handsome young man, who says, "Mum, I'm borrowing the car today to go to school, you don't need it" ? Jakob is now in year 12.
Aneika is also at college with Jakob, in year 11.
Nathan doing his usual camera poses all ready for grade 10 and fulfilling the role of peer support to the new grade 7's. This year is his last at high school.
And here's one of the new grade 7's.
Henry is now in high school, and he may not seem impressed, but this is one of his typical camera faces. He was looking forward to starting, but also a little nervous.Katie all ready for grade 5. Excited to be back at school, but also a little apprehensive. This is the first time she has ever had a male teacher.
And Lilly my baby, she assures me that she will always be my baby no matter how big she gets:)
She is now in grade 3. Last night I went to check on the girls about 10pm before going to bed and Lilly was still wide awake. When I asked her what was wrong she said she was worried her teacher wouldn't like her. I assured her it would be OK:)
Lilly loves everything about school. The learning, the friends, the activities and her teachers, when she gets to know them.

And five of them together before the day began.
