Nathan turns 15

Yesterday Nathan turned 15... where did the time go?? He has grown so much in the last year it's a little disconcerting, 12 months ago he was only up to Jakob's shoulder now it's a race to see who will be the tallest, and I think Nathan will win:) Plus his voice has broken and when I hear him talking I often mistake him for Jakob or Jason....

Just relaxing on Sunday afternoon after a very yummy birthday tea, that included one very rich chocolate pie...
Katie and Henry teamed up and gave him and Aussie coin sorter, the other kids are enjoying giving him their small change and watching it be sorted:)

Every year the kids want to light their own birthday candles... but what happens when you let them? Burnt fingers.... Nathan gave his thumb a good burn. Thus, that's why parents don't let their kids play with fire!

Enjoying his birthday... but feeling a bit sorry for himself with one very sore burnt thumb...

All six kids together, that has got to be the best present of all:):)

6. That he knows how to be 'invisible' when it suits him
7. That he has a fantastic friendship with his brothers
8. That he can achieve what needs to be done with minimum effort
9. His ability to cheer others up
10. And did I mention his sense of humour - he always makes me smile:)
