Tiling and Grouting the kitchen

I took Thursday & Friday off work to get on with the tiling. Tam took the kids up the coast while I was working away at it. I was suprised how long it took to complete getting the tiles onto the cement sheeting. Lots of cutting involved! It was fortunate a mate from work had an electric tile cutter that he loaned me. I finished off the tile placement Friday morning and then we had to wait for a 24 hour period before grouting.

This is the tiles without the grout come Friday.


Here is the tiles with the grouting all but finished. What a mess!

Tam will be pleased when she can get back into the kitchen without the mess.
