Lilly visits the Fire Station

Today Lilly had a school excursion to the Fire Station and Town Library with her kinder class. She was so excited when she left for school this morning. A few weeks ago a fireman had been at Norwood primary School to check on fire hydrants etc., and the kinder kids had watched him check the one near their classroom. When I had picked up Lilly that day she had said to me, "I saw a fireman today mummy, a real live fireman".... and the way that she has said it was like she couldn't believe that fireman were actually real....
So today to actually go to a fire station was just great!! She told me about sitting in the fire truck and getting to try on some fireman clothes and having a turn to hold the hose..with the water coming out!! It really sounded like she had a great time. And then the kinder kids were given a colouring book each and stickers and a balloon.... what more could a 4 year old want.....

Hi Tammy -
I just read the story about Lilly going to the fire station to Sam and Ella and they just loved it. Sam asked if he could please go visit you again.
