Lilly bakes a cake

At Norwood Primary School they have along with the regular home readers this year 'activity sacks', which have a story and other things the kids can do at home to encourage discussion and child involvement. Lilly has just brought home a cooking sack; that had as well as a story a teddy bear cake mould and two recipes to try.....so of course with Lilly who loves to cook we have been cooking for the past two days..... First a teddy bear tea cake and then a teddy bear chocolate cake.

We didn't get any pictures of the cooked teaddy bear chocolate cake as it was yummy and was eaten before we knew it!! Though I do think as part of recipe that invovles kids the method should state to give the beaters and bowl to the kids to lick!..... That's always Lilly's favourite part!!
