The Wonders of Tassie

It's been a while since we took the time to see some of the beautiful places and things not too far from us. For the last few days of school holidays we were able to to get away  and see some of the wonders of the North West Coast. It was nice to spend some time with my parents and also to see the beautiful tulips at Table Cape, to explore the Nut at Stanley, and to be dazzled by the white sand at Boat Harbour.
While we were with Oma and Pop we had a counter meal out. Katie insisted she was "starving" and was positive she could eat a full size meal. She nearly freaked out when they brought her chicken parmigiana. It was just a little bit bigger than expected!!
Nathan was sure he had chosen well with his buffalo wings and spicy ribs.... yep! good choice :)
The tulips were amazing, and although only Katie wanted to get out of the car.... as "flowers are so lame mum", I think we were all amazed by the variety of colours.

I think these were my favourite :)

Love this photo of father and daughter together

my budding photographer - Lilly is always taking my camera!!

when we arrived in Stanley some of us decided to walk up the Nut, others decided to take the chairlift
This was the first time that I have taken the chairlift up the nut.... have to say it was pretty good!
Think Nathan regretted his decision to walk up....

Katie was the only one that wanted to walk the circuit track on top of the Nut.... the other three just went up and down....
