A Catch up on Life

It's been a while since I've blogged. That doesn't mean nothing has happened, quite the opposite in fact. So I thought I would get back into it by blogging what we have been up to. Starting from the oldest to the youngest.

Jakob

Jakob has begun University and is now living and studying in Hobart. He wasn't sure when he returned from his mission if he could start this year, but he was able to get in. It just means that he has to do some summer school units over the summer holidays. He is studying Pharmacy. He decided when he was in high school that, that was what he wanted to do and is now pressing forward with that goal.

Aneika

There is allot currently happening for Aneika this year and next. Later this year her and Zac are tying the knot and getting married, so allot of planning is in progress. We currently have the venue and the day organised, now to organize the little things in between.
Then next year Aneika, Zac and Leira will be welcoming a new addition to their family. So yes Leira will be a big sister!!

Nathan

Nathan has received his mission call to serve in the Philippines Legazpi mission. He will leave for the Philippines Missionary Training Centre in Manila on the 17th of December 2015. After 6 weeks there he will head to the Legazpi area until December 2017. He will be learning and speaking Tagalog.

see the surprise.... he was planning to go somewhere cold!

Henry

Henry has been busy with school and being 16 and improving his guitar playing. He recently bought himself an amp for his guitar and I have to admit I do enjoy hearing him play. So much so that I even allow him to get out of his chores if he is playing!

Katie-Lynne

Last month Katie turned 14! She is the most amazing teenager! She is fun to be around, compassionate, a fantastic daughter, sister and aunt, fun to go shopping with, honest, a great friend.... let's just say as her mum I am enjoying her teenage years.

Lilly

This week Lilly turned 12, she is growing up way to fast. She couldn't decide what to do for her birthday and wasn't sure about a party. So she told me not to worry. So we decided to throw her a surprise birthday party.... she had no idea. So last Friday she went with Katie over to Aneika's house to 'help out', when she came back her 5 best friends were here with party poppers ready to celebrate with her in a birthday sleepover. Let's just say not much sleeping was done!
Lilly also has officially become a glasses wearer....just for her school work and other things where she is concentrating for a long period of time.

creating artwork together as next year they will be going to three different schools
