Missionary Moments

This week Jakob wrote....

Hello!

So, I'm not transferring, but Yoshida choro is. He's done his time in Habikino already. I'm glad I get to stay for at least another 6 weeks. The only down side is that I am now going to be senior companion, I'd only just settled into the role of junior. I feel I could be ready for it in the sense of I'm a lot more comfortable doing things I hated to do at home, like stop people on the street, ask for directions, call on the phone, etc. This will be a good experience I feel, I hope I can lead us well here.

I do miss hiking and the outdoors, we have a little bit of it here in Habikino. We jogged to the top of one of those burial mounds last week, it felt nice to be surrounded by trees,...
Language is coming along steadily, probably could be faster, but I try and find a balance between language and gospel learning. It's enough to do a lesson and contact initially, I just can't have proper conversations or sort through an investigators problems with the reasoning of my words...
