.... my new companion is Elder Wood, he is second transfer and from Utah, ... Being senior companion isn't too much different, Wood choro's Japanese is better than mine, as he did 4 years before he came. That is useful. My week wasn't too eventful, aside from two all you can eat meals with a our investigators, I was stuffed full after each one. One was yakiniku, where you just get a whole heap of raw meat and cook it yourself. Cooked liver and heart and stomach and diaphragm, and intestine, it was pretty good. I am surprised what I am happy to eat now days. The other was one where you boil meat yourself and eat it. Costly, but worth it.
I went to the Zoo with Fernandes choro, who is brazilian,
while waiting for my new companion, as they were running a bit late, ....
Habikino is just so slow, it's more of just an outlying suburb than proper
city, so lots of houses but not many people out on the streets.
General conference was great and I really enjoyed it, we
watched it in English with the other missionaries and english speakers
(Filipino's mostly) in another room.....
I think we're going to be working pretty hard this week,
Elder Wood has a lot of energy, so might revitalise everything, get some new
investigators.
Not too much more to type, language is going okay, lost my
fear of the telephone somewhere, now that I've got to make all the calls...

The Elders are friends from the
MTC, one is from Utah, the other Finland, one of them is in the same zone as me
now. We went to the Zoo while we waited, because we could...
