Missionary Moments

Yay! Jakob finally received his camera cord in the mail and we are now receiving some photos. Here's a few that came with his email today

He also wrote this week.....

Hello,
It's been a long, but short and fast week. Long in terms of it felt like it dragged on a bit, and short and fast because, despite that, it still feels like there is less than a week between P-Days.....
I'm not sure how the cotton plant service started, I think it was last transfer, and the Elders that were here simply asked if they could give help to an old man, and to their surprise he said yes. We just rock up there every Tuesday and weed and stuff. Some of the people there have started coming to Eikaiwa (English Class) too, which is cool. There are about 15-20 students here, a lot more than in Katsura.
..... My language is improving, but it's kind of a process. Although I might end up training in a couple of transfers, it's going to take at least a year for me to get decent I think. .....
The Fireworks were really cool on Thursday night. PL Hanabi it was called. Found out PL stands for Perfect Liberty, which is actually a sun worshiping cult in Osaka... who would've known that? But they have big tower thing and do firework displays every year, which are amazing. ..We have dinner tonight which I'm looking forward to, though I woke up this morning with a cold or something, which is taihen (a hassle). Good thing it was P-day I guess.....
