Sometimes the winds of change blow gently across life and gradually you have time to adjust, but for our family this year it feels as though they have been blowing with gale force. No sooner do I feel as though I am adjusting to the latest change, then another change blows in with great force...
This year apart from the change that comes with the kids schooling at the beginning of every new year. Jason took a redundancy from the university where he had worked for the past 19 years, and Jakob finished up his work at KFC where he had worked as a cook since he was 15. Then Jakob left for his two year mission to Kobe Japan. Then shortly after this Jason's father passed way .
I then began my final semester at university working full time everyday for 16 weeks to gain my Bachelor of Social Work degree. This was working ok - although rather exhausting, but Jason was home with the kids so that made things manageable...
Now the winds of change are blowing again....
Aneika has gotten a job doing nails at Tipz N Tanz in Kings meadows,...
Jakob has been moved from his first area in Japan to a new area called Habikino (more about this later)
and Jason has been offered and starts tomorrow a new job - which is great - except that it is in Hobart. So on top having to juggle this last semester with full time work - Jason will not be at home for the work week, and just to add to this I have had to drop my gym membership as there just won't be the time (this is my release from the pressures of life and helps me get through).....
I am kind of in the mood now for a weather change, maybe a few gentle breezes that gradually blow Jason back up here to Launceston?
On a different front here are a few photos from the past few weeks....
Henry and Nathan before Henry's first youth dance - they both had a great time :)
my girls
Jason and the kids met me for lunch this week at Royal park - it was nice to see them during the day
