Farewell Josh

On Thursday evening we got together with the Triffitt clan to have fun and wish Josh all the best as he leaves on his mission to serve in the Auckland New Zealand mission for two years. It was a fantastic evening that Dion and Kay had organised at the Burnie Fun Centre where the kids and the adults could go crazy, and we could all just relax and have fun together.
There were air guns for shooting
and of course someone has to pick up all the balls...thanks Josh :)

and if you're not careful you might find you are a little too big for the equipment and get stuck with some spikes... watch out Jakob!
and the coloured slides were a favourite for all ages.... at 10
at 1
and for the young at heart... go Kay!
and then there's those who choose just to kick back and relax
and these three cousins, great friends and so close in age... only 8 months separating them
Aneika found the boat in the little kiddie section to be nice and relaxing with its rocking motion if you are feeling a little tired :)
and underneath these balls are the bodies of three big boys ready to pounce on their little cousins, ...it's only fun however until someone jumps on you
Lilly had a fantastic time
Sarra and Piper
This slide was a favourite with the kids and also the adults. Simone was a little chicken at first, but after the first try she went for a second :)
of course the kids were not chicken when it came to the slide or any of the fun stuff.
Kay made this really yummy chocolate cake for Josh
and the man of the moment, feeling a little apprehensive, but also looking forward to his mission experience
now the idea was to get all these cousins together for a shot but as you can tell not everyone was cooperative at the same time... and the little ones soon got bored.
Josh with his new teddy... a friend to take everywhere he goes...
