Yesterday our beautiful little Lilly turned 8. When I describe Lilly as part of our family, I usually refer to her as the decorations. She is so full of life, and fun, and excitement. Our family wouldn't be right without any of our kids, but Lilly is the one that binds them all together. She adores her siblings and loves being the youngest of so many....
This is her last week just before she turned 8
On her birthday morning, waiting in the birthday chair ready for present opening.
Katie gave her a best friends necklace, so that she could wear one half and Lilly could wear the other. It's great to have your sister as your best friend.
The boys all chipped in and bought her a slot car set, she was stoked!! It's great when your brothers know just what you need:)

She also got a CTR necklace amongst her presents
And for her birthday she got her ears pierced. She was really nervous but put on a brave face and with the help from her sisters Aneika and Katie she went through with it

- That she loves to doing girly things while still enjoying being a tomboy
- The way she loves to learn - her teachers say she always does her best
- That she often reminds me that she will always be my baby, even when she's grownup
- The way she wrestles with her brothers and always comes out the winner (I wonder if they let her?)
- Her courage
- Her resourcefulness, if at first you don't succeed in getting your own way, just be cute to your brothers and they will soon give in!

Happy Birthday Lilly!!! I love the look on her face in the slot car set pic - a great choice of present - well done to the boys!!! I'm sure they'll enjoy Lilly's present too!
