A Day Away

School holidays and university don't really mix that well. My week off was the week prior to the holidays, so while I'm trying to get to classes and study the kids are trying to relax and have a break. So on Wednesday Katie and Lilly headed to Ulverstone on the bus to stay with Oma and Poppy.
On Friday the boys and I headed to Ulverstone for the day to pick up the girls and hopefully go to the beach if the weather was good enough.....The day turned out beautiful:) It was great to get out doors and enjoy time with each other... and then of course on the way home to make the trip more exciting we stopped at Anvers chocolate factory and Ashgrove and did a bit of chocolate and cheese tasting.

I love it on a cool spring day when the sun is shining and the wind is not blowing too much and you can just sit at the beach and enjoy the beautiful surrounds.

Lilly, as always got absolutely grotty, after wading in the creek, make sand angels in the sand and just having fun
