This past week with Jason being on holidays we have had some family time. It was also a necessity as otherwise I wouldn't have got away from the books, with semester 1 nearly over the pressure is on!
On Monday we went for a walk to Punchbowl, we haven't been there for a while and it was just a beautiful morning. The weather was perfect and the company was great...
Henry, Katie and Lilly posing in the ferns
Five of our great kids, just enjoying hanging out
One of the things the boys love is a challenge, this one was see who can get the autumn leaf off that branch...
Lilly and Katie love to climb the rocks on the far side of the punchbowl...
On Friday we went to pick up Katie and Lilly from Oma and Pops place and thought we would put in a trip to the Leven Canyon. I haven't been there since I was a teenager and had forgotten how beautiful it is. Although is was sunny day in Ulverstone, the Leven Canyon was full of mist but it was beautiful all the same
The best thing about having a barbecue on open fire is toasting marshmallows or in Nathan's case toasting Easter eggs
Katie was absolutely certain that this marshmallow that she toasted had Katie written on the side when she pulled it out of the fire.
On the circuit track Jakob counted the steps, apparently there was about 700 give or take a few

My Boys... aren't they handsome lads?!?
Nathan, Henry and Lilly on the lookout
Oma and Pop came to the lookout with us as well
Katie ready with her binoculars to check out the canyon
